Democrat Matthew Levine enters Missouri 6th District congressional primary

KTVO reports that Democrat Matthew Levine is running in the crowded primary to succeed retiring U.S. Rep. Sam Graves in Missouri's 6th District, joining five Republicans and two other Democrats. The seat has been held by Graves since 2001. Levine could not do an on-camera interview due to his roles as lead TSA officer in Kansas City, substitute teacher, and campaign work. In an email he stated priorities of funding public education and listening to rural Missouri constituents. He faces Scot Pondelick and Josh Smead in the Democratic primary on August 4.
